管楽器との相性も抜群！

メーカーからの説明では、「ギターアンプや管楽器、打楽器などの音を正確に再現」と書かれているものの、なぜかオンラインのレビューや動画などではドラムセットなどの集音の例しか見つからないこのインストマイク。スペックシートをみながら、「多分トロンボーンなんかもいい音するだろうなー、したらいいなー」と思って、ポイントが結構貯まったのを機に思い切って購入。
見た目が少しEVのRE20（元々ラジオ用ですがトロンボーン集音の定番）に似ていることからの連想でもあったんですが、手に取ってみると大きさが全然違う。このマイク、想像より1回りか2回り小さいです。それでも、金属筐体がカッコよく、重量もそれなりにあって、丈夫な印象。
肝心の音ですが、これは大当たり！　少なくとも中低音を受け持つ管楽器（テナーサックスなんかもよさそう）には間違いなくおすすめです。ローパスを切った状態で録音してみると、温かみと艶のある、とても良い音で撮れました。流石にリボンマイクで出るような太さはありませんが、むしろスッキリして良いかも。これをライブでガンガン使えると考えるとワクワクします。
