Auralex PlatSheet is a sheet version of PlatFoam, made from the same material. Auralex PlatFoam is designed to create isolation systems that reduce sound transmission through floors and reduce sound transmission through walls and ceilings. By combining Auralex PlatFoam with plywood, flooring, or MDF boards, you can create your own isolation board, similar to Hoverdeck.

Introducing a Hoverdeck into your recording environment will create a tighter, more focused drum sound with less unwanted low frequencies, resulting in ideal drum sound. It also reduces sound transmission to other parts of your home or studio, resulting in excellent isolation. Auralex PlatFoam has been used with great success in a variety of locations, from Hollywood composers to world-class nightlife venues and houses of worship.
