■The PC100USB-HR has been redesigned. It shares the same design as the PC100d-HR with optical digital input and the PC200USB-HR with built-in amplifier, both of which are part of the ""PC Hi-Res"" series. It features a compact black body with a large, silver, machined aluminum volume knob for a bold, square form. It won't get in the way on your desktop, making it a gadget you'll want to keep close by.

■This 24-bit/96kHz Hi-Res compatible model of the PC100USB, which has become a staple as a convenient PC gadget with handy volume control. While maintaining its compact body, the PC100USB's key components, including the capacitors, DAC, and op-amp, have been redesigned to achieve higher sound quality.

■ Equipped with a built-in DAC, it features an RCA pin jack (output) for connecting to active speakers such as the PM series, and a PHONES jack for connecting headphones. It can also be used as a headphone amplifier.
* When headphones or other devices are connected to the PHONES jack, no signal is output to the RCA pin jack (output).

■ USB bus power operation eliminates the need for a separate power supply. It is also a simple high-resolution device that runs on the standard Windows and Mac OS USB audio driver (compatible OS: Windows 7 or later, Mac OS X v10.6 or later).
* Depending on your OS and playback software, you may need to select (switch) it as the playback device in the settings.
* It cannot be used with playback software that uses dedicated drivers other than the standard OS USB Audio driver.

■ Includes one USB 2.0 cable (AB type/1m) and two RCA pin cables (1m). Simply connect to your PC, active speakers, etc. and you're ready to go without purchasing additional cables.
