These nickel bass strings feature DR's proprietary ""K3"" coating, creating a yellow glow when illuminated. These strings are a staple for four-string basses, with gauges ranging from 45-105. Not only do they deliver impact, they also boast greater output and a clearer sound with fewer unwanted overtones than non-coated strings. They also offer superior corrosion resistance, lasting longer than standard strings.

""NEON"" strings feature DR's proprietary ""K3"" coating technology, producing a bright, clear sound. Durability testing by DR has shown that the coating is less likely to peel and lasts 3-4 times longer than regular strings.
The bright color coating develops color when exposed to stage lights, creating an even more striking effect than regular color-coated strings. (Note: This is phosphorescent, not glow-in-the-dark.)
