HD25はもともと側圧が強めのヘッドホンです。動きには強いですが、家でのリスニングで使うには若干、圧しつけを感じることも。YAXI のイヤーパッドtypeBを使う事によって側圧が緩和されて着け心地がアップします。純正よりも大きなパッドは優しく包み込むような形状になっており、しっとりとした質感がある高級レザー素材を使用。typeBは4色のカラーを、素材が異なるべロアイヤーパッドはさらに多くの色を取り揃えています。いろいろなカラーのイヤーパッドに付け替えることによって、質実剛健なデザインのHD25の印象を変える事が出来ます。ポータブル機器との相性も良いHD25を、積極的に外に持ち出して使いたくなることでしょう。
