ビグスビーの弦交換が楽になります！

弦を外すだけで簡単に装着できます。一度装着すれば弦交換が楽にできます。アームの使用感もほとんど変わりません。銀色のビグスビーにあえて金色のVIBRAMATEをつけました。ビグスビーの高級感が一層高まりました。たぶん。

これ欲しかった

ビグスビーは長らく愛用してきましたが、弦交換が煩わしく、色々工夫してながらやってきました。ビジュアル的にどうかなぁ?っと思っていましたが、便利さには勝てずに購入しちゃいました。
じつはずーっと前から欲しかったものです。

ビグスビーの悩み

ビグスビー搭載機を数本所有して、このパーツの有る無しで変わるのは弦交換のし易さだけじゃない事に気付きました。
無しの時はボールエンドを引っ掛けてから約半周をポールに巻き付けるのでアーミングするうちに少しずつこの巻き付け部分が斜めにズレてチューニングが弦毎に変わってしまいますが、有りの場合には巻き付けが無い分弦は真っ直ぐに近い状態で維持されるので軽減されます。特に6弦がズレてB5/B7のテンションバーの隅に弦落ちしてしまう場合にも効果があり、溝を切ってあるバーに交換しなくてもかなり改善されました。弦交換はすぐに慣れましたが、弦がズレない効果の方が大きいので数ヶ月使用してみて改めて良いパーツだと思います。メインで弾くギターにはほとんど着けています。
