The key feature of the F-90 is its P-90 sound, which combines a satisfying picking bite with a rich, clear sound.
The challenge in development was to achieve a good balance between the ""P-90-like richness"" and the ""wide range and clarity of sound."" These seemingly opposing sonic qualities are closely related. The difference in magnet affects the range and sound thickness during attack, while the difference in coil wire winding pattern and tension creates overtones and emphasizes the low and mid frequencies.
The ""F-90"" was created by pursuing this balance.
From a clean crunch with a clear, crisp sound rich in overtones, the drive section deepens to a thick, punchy mid-low range typical of a P-90. However, picking nuances are not lost here, creating a drive sound with a bite. Introducing the new F-90, allowing you to create sounds while enjoying the bite of your picking across a wide range of music.
*The F-90 does not come in a neck or bridge version.
Simply install the same F-90 in both the neck and bridge positions, and adjust the balance using the traditional height adjustment.
