Dean Zelinsky: Founder of Dean Guitars. He currently oversees the Dean Zelinsky brand. From the 1970s to the present, Zelinsky's groundbreaking and innovative designs have been embraced by top guitarists around the world.

Among the many guitar manufacturers, Zelinsky is unique in that he actually lays out a blank canvas, designs his guitars, hand-carves the body, shapes the neck, and paints the body... Only a handful of manufacturers have top guitar craftsmen capable of mastering all of these processes. Zelinsky began mastering guitar making and repair techniques in his teens, and founded Dean Guitars in 1976 at the age of 19. He had a profound influence on the rock scene and rock guitarists of the 1980s.

Today, Zelinsky continues to create guitars under his own brand, ""Dean Zelinsky,"" that skillfully combine tradition with ingenuity. These instruments truly embody the experience Zelinsky has accumulated over the past 36 years. With innovative concepts like the ""Z-Glide"" neck and the ultra-thin single-cutaway Zenyatta, Zelinsky has further expanded the functional and design possibilities of the guitar.
