Auralsonic Pro-BO is a sound-adjusting material that can be placed near instruments or recording microphones to enjoy natural, powerful sound with deep mid-low frequencies, high-quality sound localization [CR], sound spread, three-dimensionality, and a sense of presence.

Placing it in front of a drum or guitar amplifier effectively prevents sound interference.

It also comes in a two-fold bag design for convenient portability. The zippered edges allow it to be connected to other Pro-BOs vertically or horizontally [CR] to create the size and shape you desire.

""AURAL SONIC"" is designed based on the concept of ""sound tuning,"" which is completely different from traditional ""sound absorption/soundproofing.""
It attenuates unnecessary mid-low frequency reverberations while leaving ""mid-high and high frequency overtones"" intact. I think it gives a slightly ""live"" feel.

How to use it when recording:
When placing ""AURAL SONIC"" near the ""sound source,"" the sound travels more directly to the microphone, increasing density. (A high-sensitivity microphone is effective because it increases the amount of information!)
When placing it away from the ""sound source,"" it is effective to place it in a ""sound-reflecting location"" such as a corner of a room, on one (or both) sides of a parallel surface, or on a hard floor.

I bring several portable ""Pro-bo"" microphones to the recording site and use a zipper to change the size and shape up, down, left, and right. By changing the settings and trying out various things for the sound source, I can create new sensations in the sound quality, sound pressure, reverberation, etc. It's a fresh and fun process.
