■Balanced Output
- By configuring each L/R channel with two amplifiers, one with positive (+) and one with negative (-) outputs, the ground is kept clean and separation is improved. The S/N ratio is improved by reducing the effects of power line noise, resulting in greater resolution and sound positioning.
*1 Compatible headphones and headphone cables are required for balanced output (can also be used as a standard stereo output headphone amplifier).
*2 Balanced output is only available with digital connections.
■High-Quality DAC (ES9018) and High-Quality Headphone Amplifier (TPA6120)
- The ES9018 is used for the DA converter for its S/N ratio and jitter resistance. The voltage amplifier section uses the OPA2604, known for its all-FET structure, as well as the high-quality LME49860, which boasts low noise and distortion. The output stage features a high-end current-feedback headphone amplifier with dual TPA6120s for balanced output support. These semiconductor devices prioritize sound quality and support even higher audio quality. The output stage is equipped with a current-feedback, high-slew-rate amplifier IC. The PCL output stage with dual positive and negative power supplies delivers high-quality, powerful headphone drive.
