Equipped with a newly developed HD hybrid 3-way driver unit, the in-ear receiver uses highly rigid magnesium for the housing and driver, reproducing the airy sound characteristic of high-resolution audio sources across the entire frequency range.

■High-resolution audio compatible. HD hybrid 3-way driver
- Equipped with a newly developed HD hybrid 3-way driver that combines a large-diameter 16mm dynamic driver unit and two balanced armature driver units (full-range + magnesium HD super tweeter). It faithfully reproduces the airy nuances of music unique to high-resolution audio sources across the entire frequency range.
■Newly developed linear drive balanced armature
- The balanced armature driver uses a symmetrical armature and direct drive structure to improve the linearity of the mechanical vibration system. By driving the diaphragm faithfully in response to the input signal, it delivers highly transparent mid- and high-range sounds.
■Symmetrical armature
- A T-shaped symmetrical armature has been developed. By increasing the vertical symmetry of vibration, waveform reproduction is maximized.
■Direct drive structure
- Uses a connecting rod integrated with the diaphragm. The direct connection between the armature and diaphragm faithfully drives the diaphragm in response to the input signal.
■Magnesium HD Super Tweeter
・The tweeter diaphragm is made of magnesium, which boasts the highest specific rigidity* of all practical metals and high internal loss. This accurately reproduces the high-resolution, ultra-high frequencies of high-resolution audio sources.
*Specific rigidity is an evaluation index that expresses rigidity per unit weight.
■Large-diameter 16mm dynamic driver unit with aluminum-coated LCP diaphragm
・A thin layer of aluminum is coated on the surface of LCP (liquid crystal polymer) film, which achieves a high level of balance between the three requirements for diaphragm material: high rigidity, light weight, and high internal loss. The interaction between LCP and aluminum achieves high and flat internal loss characteristics across the entire frequency range, delivering clear, uncolored sound quality.
■Full Magnesium Housing
・Integrating the dynamic driver with a highly rigid magnesium housing reduces the speaker's profile and improves comfort. The high internal loss of magnesium suppresses unnecessary vibrations, resulting in crystal-clear sound quality.
■Beat Response Control
- An extremely thin acoustically loaded tube connected directly to the back of the dynamic driver optimizes the operation of the diaphragm. This improves low-frequency transient characteristics and accurately reproduces rhythm.
■High-Quality Network Circuit
- The network circuit connected to the Magnesium HD Super Tweeter uses a film capacitor with excellent sound quality. By minimizing vibration and electrical interference, delicate high tones are achieved.
