The GRACE DESIGN m920 is a high-resolution monitor headphone amplifier/DAC and monitoring controller, featuring a USB input that supports up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM and 5.6MHz DSD signals, covering all major digital formats.

- The m920's built-in ""M Series 32-bit Sabre DAC"" fully supports DSD files. It supports DSD64 (2.8MHz) and DSD128 (5.6MHz) via the USB input, and DSD64 (2.8MHz) via the AES3 or S/PDIF input. USB transmission supports asynchronous mode and supports PCM (DXD) formats up to 384kHz/32bit. Additionally, the USB, AES3, coaxial digital (S/PDIF), and optical digital (TOSLINK) inputs support 192kHz/24bit file transmission.

プロ仕様のハイグレードヘッドホンアンプとして歴史にその名を刻んできたmシリーズの最高傑作「m920」。m902、m903と代々受け継がれてきた至高の血統（型番）がここで一気にm920へとジャンプアップ。まさに、最高峰のヘッドホンアンプを名乗るに相応しい存在と言えます。

まず、DACが一新され、最大32bit/384kHz PCMや5.6MHz DSDのハイレゾ音源にも対応し、現在主要なデジタルフォーマットを網羅しています。DACチップもPCM1798から現状至高と名高いES9018K2Mに変更され、差動アンプにはハイスピードなTHAT1570、オペアンプには超低歪で高精度なOPA1612を採用する事で、高いダイナミックレンジを実現。音質に並々ならぬこだわりが感じられます。ジッターも極力抑制さた設計となり、デジタル部での飛躍的な進化を遂げています。
　電源部もアナログ回路用とデジタル回路用とに分かれており、ノイズの混入を抑制しています。また電源ラインの最適化を図る事でローインピーダンス化にも成功し、鮮度の良い電源供給が可能となり、良音の土台を築いています。

ボリュームセクションにおいては、左右のレベル差0.05dB以内という非常に高い精度でのステレオバランスを実現しており、可変抵抗器を使ったボリューム回路には到底真似の出来ない精度を誇っています。ヘッドホンアンプにみならずLINE OUTを利用したプリアンプとしても高い人気があるのにはこういった点からも伺えますね。使い勝手も大変良く、0.5dBステップのボリュームコントローラーは回す速度で変化量が変わるので、直観的な操作が可能です。

そのポテンシャルの高さから、スタジオモニターとしてはもちろん、オーディオ観賞用のDAC/ヘッドホンアンプ、PC用デスクトップヘッドホンアンプとしても大変人気の高いモデルです。デジタル回路が一新されたため、今話題のハイレゾ音源にも対応していますし、出力インピーダンスも1.2Ωという低い値を実現し、わずか数Ωのイヤホンから600Ω高インピーダンスのヘッドホンまで、ヘッドホンが持つポテンシャルを最大限に引き出す事が可能です。DTM用に900ST、リスニング用にHD650、普段用イヤホンにUE900s、こういった組み合わせでも、m920一台で鳴らしきる事が可能です。
