This MOOG theremin-style synthesizer comes with 32 built-in waveform and wavetable presets. Each preset can also store a custom scale, starting note, range, and effect settings.

The Theremini is a modern revival of the theremin, one of the oldest electronic musical instruments in history and the instrument that first captivated Bob Moog. Combining the unique ""play-without-touch"" style of playing with the powerful sound engine of Moog's award-winning synthesizer, the Theremini, instantly familiar to players of all skill levels, offers new avenues for musical expression, music education, and even the ability to control external devices with its action controls.

The Theremini's unique pitch quantization feature allows you to freely adjust the depth of pitch correction to suit the difficulty of the piece. At maximum correction, you can only play perfectly in tune with the scale selected on the instrument, making it impossible to play off-key notes. Reducing the correction level allows for greater control over pitch and vibrato. At zero correction, you can enjoy infinite pitch control using the analog heterodyne oscillator, just like a traditional theremin.

The built-in tuner also allows you to visually monitor the pitch as you play, allowing you to see at a glance how far you are from the correct note. This not only makes it easier to correct hand position while playing, but can also be easily applied in educational fields such as training pitch and scale development.

The Thremini itself comes with 32 built-in waveform and wavetable presets. Each preset can store not only the tone but also the scale, its starting note, playing range, and stereo delay effect settings.

The built-in speaker allows for quick setup anywhere, making it convenient for individual practice. Connecting earphones or headphones to the front-panel headphone jack will cancel the speaker output, allowing you to practice in silence.

In addition, the unit is equipped with two line-level audio outputs for live performances and use as a controller, a pitch CV output with adjustable note range, and a mini USB port for convenient MIDI signal exchange.
