The new APC40 MKII incorporates five years of user feedback since the release of its predecessor, the APC40, completely redesigning the style and design of the already nearly perfected APC. It's now an even more refined expansion controller for Ableton Live that unleashes its full potential.

The APC40 MKII features a 40-clip launch matrix (5 x 8) with RGB color backlighting. The backlight color provides visual feedback of clip status. Calling, playing, and recording clips can be done intuitively without looking at the computer screen.

Furthermore, the functions and layout of the faders and knobs have been redesigned, with faders and control knobs now inline with the channels, as well as eight device control knobs, enabling a smarter, smoother workflow. It also features an A/B crossfader, allowing for complex control without having to reach for the mouse.

The APC40 MKII comes with pre-configured mappings so you can immediately get started performing and creating with Ableton Live. Simply connect it to your computer with a USB cable and complete the initial setup process to instantly become a perfect controller for Ableton Live. You can also easily customize assignments to suit your style. The lightweight, USB-bus-powered APC40 MKII is a powerful controller that gives musicians and DJs direct and intuitive control of Ableton Live in the studio or on stage.
