The PRESONUS Monitor Station V2 is equipped with three stereo analog inputs, one SPDIF digital input, outputs for up to three pairs of monitor speakers, and four high-power headphone amplifiers, providing a professional monitoring environment.

■Various Source Support
The Monitor Station V2 is a convenient desktop control center that lets you switch between these sources without compromising sound quality.

Each stereo input (TRS1, TRS2, and Aux) can be routed to either the main or cue audio path, and two separate signals (main and cue) can be routed to each of the four headphone amps. For example, you can send the mix and click to the TRS 2 input and the main mix to TRS 1, then monitor the cue or main mix through headphones. The main audio path always delivers the same source as the control room.

■ Headphone Communication Made Easy
The built-in electret condenser talkback microphone with level control allows you to communicate with musicians via headphones. The red talk button activates the microphone and attenuates the cue signal by 20dB.

■ Customize to Suit Your Style
The 8-segment, tri-color LED meter has three selectable modes for use at signal levels of +4dB, +10dB, and +18dB.

The mono switch mixes the stereo output to mono, allowing you to check for phase issues. A large knob control controls the main speaker output level (not the main line-level output), and a dim switch with attenuation knob allows you to reduce the speaker output by various amounts (-30 to -6dB). Of course, you can also mute the speakers.

You can change and save your preferred settings for input selection, speaker selection, and the aforementioned LED meter mode at power-on.

The inputs can be set to either summing mode (TRS1, TRS2, and Aux-S/PDIF mixed) or toggle mode (only one of TRS1, TRS2, or Aux/Phono can be selected).

The speakers can be set to all-on mode (speakers A, B, and C can be used simultaneously), toggle mode (only one of speakers A, B, or C can be selected), or subwoofer mode (select either A and B, and add C to A or B).
