■The Chocolate Wah is a wah pedal featuring a smooth wah sound and versatile tone-adjusting controls. It was developed to deliver a solid tone without blurring the sound image from toe to heel. The Q Control knob adjusts the sharpness of the wah effect (peak). At minimum, it produces a subtle wah-like sound, while at 20-70%, it produces a wah sound suitable for leads and chords. Further increasing the Q Control knob produces a stronger, more pronounced peak. The side mini switch allows you to switch between high and low frequencies, allowing you to tailor the overall tone to suit your instrument's characteristics and the wah effect you desire.
■The input and output stages are equipped with buffer circuits, and the high-impedance input and low-impedance output ensure a stable wah sound no matter where you connect this unit in your effects chain. You can get a well-balanced wah effect even when using a fuzz in the later stage.
■This product uses a repainted Dunlop CryBaby (GCB-95) chassis. The CryBaby chassis is comfortable to pedal and is equipped with a handmade circuit board. While the current CryBaby has a battery holder on the bottom panel, this product also has a circuit board underneath the battery holder, so you can change the battery by turning the rubber feet and opening the bottom panel.
■The interior uses highly reliable parts, including a Montreux pot and Switchcraft input/output jacks.
