This is a TOMBO octave bass harmonica. Its carefully designed note arrangement and hole spacing allow for melodic playing even in the lower register. The reeds, which are one octave apart, produce a distinctively rich, full-bodied tone. The top row is in C#, and the bottom row is in C.

Diversified ensemble compositions have created a demand for melodic and fast playing even in the lower register. This bass harmonica was designed with careful attention to the arrangement of notes and hole spacing to meet these demands. The body is made of a new rosewood finish. Reeds of different octaves sound simultaneously, producing a rich tone. The lower row is C and the upper row is C#. Playing feels like playing two multi-tone harmonicas stacked on top of each other.
