The Mr. White Tweak Boost is a signal boost pedal that can increase volume and push your amplifier to create overdrive sounds. It offers various EQ settings to achieve a wide range of boost sounds. Its compact 5.0cm x 5.0cm housing makes it easy to fit on a pedalboard. The pedal can be turned on/off by pressing the footswitch. When on, the LED indicator lights up. When the effect is off, the circuit is completely removed from the signal (true bypass). It features three internal trimmers that adjust bass, treble, and output volume. The bass and treble trimmers are only active when the EQ is turned on via the DIP switch. Turning the EQ on results in a slightly lower boost level than when it's off. For a transparent, clean boost, set the EQ to off. When the pedal is turned over and placed with the footswitch facing you, the leftmost trimmer is the bass, the center trimmer is the treble trimmer, and the rightmost trimmer is the volume trimmer. The left and right movements of each trimmer may be reversed depending on the batch. There is no difference in tone, but please check the movement of the trimmers on your pedal by actually adjusting them. Raising both the treble and bass trimmers will cut the midrange, and lowering them will emphasize the midrange. It is easier to create a sound if you set each EQ control to the center position before adjusting. A popular factory setting is to turn the EQ on, set the treble flat, turn the bass down just a little, and turn the volume down just from maximum. This will produce a great boost sound.
