The Crimson Tremolo is a tremolo effect based on the volume modulation circuit found in classic amplifiers, recreating the tremolo sound of vintage amps. Its extremely compact 5.0cm x 5.0cm housing makes it easy to fit into a pedalboard. Pressing the footswitch toggles the pedal on/off. When on, the LED indicator lights up. When the effect is off, the circuit is completely removed from the signal (true bypass). The Crimson Tremolo has two internal trimmers. These are the tremolo's Intensity and Speed ??controls. When the pedal is flipped over with the footswitch facing you, the left trimmer is the Intensity, and the right trimmer is the Speed ??trimmer. The left and right trimmers may function in reverse depending on the unit. There is no difference in tone, but please check the movement of the trimmer on your pedal by adjusting it yourself. The factory setting is for a beautiful, sparkling tremolo sound with medium speed and medium depth.
