● Premium Grand Piano Sounds
Yamaha is one of the world's largest piano manufacturers, so they have access to a vast selection of grand pianos to choose from. The CP40 STAGE features sounds from a selection of these carefully selected pianos, lavishly sampled and voiced.

● Vintage Electronic Pianos
The CP STAGE series features the sounds of numerous vintage electric pianos that have defined the music scene since the 1970s.

These vintage sounds are combined with effects modeled using Yamaha's VCM technology and voiced to allow the player to express their unique sonic expression.

● User Interface Simplifies Stage Operation
The operations required for performance are kept as simple as possible. This is the theme of the new user interface.

● Layer and Split
Set up layer and split with a single button press.
The large, illuminated button makes it easy to find, even in the dark onstage. Easily create layered piano and piano-string sounds, or split piano and bass sounds. Additionally, the Main Solo function allows you to hear only the Main part by pressing the Main button at any time, so you can switch to piano only with a single action, even when layered or split.
