The SONIC / TJ-102 TURBO J-BASS JAPAN turbo blender is designed for standard jazz basses made with metric standards, such as those from Fender Japan. It transforms your bass into one with bold power while preserving its original sound and appearance.

Same as a regular jazz bass, and the tone control can also be used.

・The two single-coil pickups (front and rear) are connected in series and function as a single humbucking pickup.
・Unlike mixing them in parallel (normally at full volume), the sound is noticeably thicker and more powerful. Since most jazz bass pickups have opposite polarities, noise cancellation is also achieved.
・When turbo is on, the volume is controlled by the volume control on the front (usually the front). The rear volume does not function. The tone control can be used regardless of whether turbo is on or off.

The ""Turbo J Bass"" is an original circuit that transforms a standard Jazz Bass into a bass with powerful power when you need it most, without changing its appearance or compromising its original sound. It functions as a single humbucking pickup, and since it's not a preamp, no batteries are required. When installed, the tone knob becomes a push-pull switch; as shown in the image to the right, it's in its normal position when pressed and in its turbo mode when pulled. Of course, turning it also functions as a tone control. The jacks are made by USA Switchcraft for durability. Additionally, the Turbo J Bass 2 features full-up potentiometers for volume and tone, bypassing the circuit when turned full to improve clarity.
