Variations

The UAD-2 OCTO CORE is a PCIe card-based DSP accelerator that can be installed in a tower-type desktop computer or other device, providing access to acclaimed UAD plug-ins from brands like Neve, Fender, Lexicon, and Studer. The OCTO CORE model features eight SHARC processors, providing powerful DSP power for your mix.

*Please note that this product is not compatible with the following computers/motherboards:

Dell Precision Series 4xx / 6xx (especially 470 / 670)

Intel DX58SO motherboard
*To use UAD plug-ins other than the included ""Analog Classics plug-ins,"" you must purchase them separately from the UA online store.
*Additional plug-ins can be purchased directly from the Universal Audio online store. All plug-ins are available for a limited 14-day demo before purchase.
*An internet connection is required to activate the product and purchase plug-ins.
*One UAD plug-in license can be used with up to four UAD products (UAD-2 PCIe type/Satellite/Apollo), but all devices must be registered to the same account ""group.""
