■The damping control switch is designed to increase or decrease low frequencies that can be harsh or lacking depending on the amplifier's configuration. This allows you to select the optimal low frequencies for each combo amp and stack amp environment. It may also be interesting to use this switch when switching between single-coil and humbucker pickups.
