■About the Academic Version

Eligible Purchasers
・Students currently enrolled in full-time educational institutions (elementary school through university)
・Students enrolled in a program of 20 hours or more per week or a program of 12 months or more, regardless of field of study.
・Those enrolled in a specialized course to learn Ableton Live (weekend seminars, etc. do not apply). Online courses such as Berkleemusic are also eligible.
- Full-time or part-time faculty currently teaching at an educational institution or university, regardless of field. Part-time faculty and private tutors must be working at least 20 hours per week.

How to Apply
- You do not need to apply at the time of purchase, but after purchase, you will need to request validation directly from the manufacturer. Please note that if you are not eligible, you will not be able to obtain validation.

After purchase, please submit the following to the manufacturer:
: Request validation of your academic status (prove that you are a student or faculty member)

To receive academic status validation, please send the following information to Ableton by email, fax, or mail:
- Your name and email address
- Your Ableton serial number
- A copy of your identification (such as a driver's license).
If you wish, you may black out any personal information other than your name and country.
- A copy of your student or teacher ID, or an official document (with a stamp) issued by the relevant educational institution.
