The ELECTRO-HARMONIX Talking Pedal creates a talking, growling sound. Unlike a standard wah pedal, it doesn't require a variable potentiometer, eliminating the worry of scratchy noise and providing the smooth, gearless feel you'd expect. By applying the built-in fuzz heavily, you can further enhance the talking wah effect and create a unique, screaming, growling sound.

As the ""talking"" name suggests, this pedal makes your guitar sound like it's speaking. It features two analog bandpass filters, creating a deep-throated growl. The built-in fuzz enhances the effect even more. The fuzz intensity can be adjusted with the dial on the side of the pedal. The NEXT STEP series pedals have no moving parts, pots, optics, or magnets. This allows for smooth, precise control with a liquid-like quality. The effect is turned on and off by pressing the front of the pedal. Tilt it forward about 10 degrees to switch it on and off. Return it to a horizontal position and you can switch it on and off again. The ehx logo lights up when it's on, making it easy to check whether it's on or off.
