Telecaster pickups up until the '50s are known to be surprisingly powerful, and this is a reproduction of what could be considered a later model. It doesn't have the same shrill sound as later Telecasters, making it actually easier to use.
Although not found on the original, the bridge side is reverse-wound and reverse-polarized to reduce noise during mixing. The output signal phase is the same as the original from this period, in phase with Gibson humbuckers and similar.
