Sonic's original bass preamp, the Bonheur, is a completely handmade preamp. It features a newly developed ""BIRDCAGE"" wiring pattern to efficiently house acoustic resistors and high-quality capacitors within its compact size. At the heart of the circuit is a carefully selected, low-power operational amplifier (op-amp) that has seen remarkable advances in recent years, ensuring ample battery life without sacrificing sound quality. We also paid particular attention to the wiring cable, using the acclaimed BELDEN 8504.
A virtual passive circuit can also be selected, simulating the capacitance of a shielded cable, providing a passive nuance that is easy to use even for users who dislike the inorganic presence of traditional active circuits.
