RME / HDSPe MADI FX

The HDSPe MADI FX is a MADI PCI Express card that simultaneously achieves low latency performance and the ability to process a huge number of audio channels. It comes with three MADI I/Os, AES/EBU, and analog monitoring outputs for a total of 390 channels. Additionally, word clock and four MIDI inputs and outputs provide flexible connectivity in a compact enclosure. Comes with a reassuring 3-year Sound House warranty!

■Audio Interface

The HDSPe MADI FX features three MADI I/Os (two optical, one coaxial), one AES/EBU, and one analog monitoring output, for a total of 390 channels of input and output. Add word clock and four MIDI I/Os, and you've packed a complete suite of technology and connectivity into a small space.
The 192 kHz RME effects engine processes TotalMix FX's EQ, compressor, reverb, and echo in the card's hardware, running latency-free and independent of your DAW.

- Intelligent automatic master/slave clock switching
- Latency-free submixing using the TotalMix mixer and full ASIO direct monitoring
- SyncAlign ensures sample-accurate alignment and prevents channel swapping
- SyncCheck monitors the synchronization status of input signals and displays the results

- TotalMix: 42-bit, 4,096-channel mixer with internal processing
