■The Kemper Profiling Amplifier can capture the sonic characteristics of any guitar amp. No more wasting time recreating cabinet mic placements because you didn't remember your settings. You can get every possible combination of tube amp tones and settings. It also features a convenient A/B comparison mode, so you can always achieve a sound that's just like the original amp. If you've ever used a great-sounding, well-tuned vintage tube amp in the studio, you can create a ""profile"" from that amp and play with that tone anytime, anywhere.
■""Profiling Technology"" is a unique technology that captures the sound and feel of a specific tube amp. It's not just a simple digital amp patch list; profiling technology allows you to capture the vivid, dynamic, and multifaceted characteristics of a tube amp.
■To start profiling, simply connect your amp to the Kemper Profiling Amplifier and press the ""record"" button. Simply insert it into your recording line and let the magic happen. A test signal is sent from the Kemper Profiling Amplifier to your amp and recorded on the microphone in front of the cabinet. You don't even need to play your guitar to profile; within a minute, the Kemper Profiling Amplifier will have absorbed your amp's DNA.
■Four independent stompbox slots offer a wealth of popular effects, including overdrive, distortion, compressor, reverb, multiple delays, LoFi algorithms, and a beautiful rotary speaker simulator. A wide variety of chorus, phaser, and flanger pedals are faithfully recreated based on classic models. For creative sonic needs, there's a decimator (which reduces the bit and sample rate for sonic effects), a ring modulator, and various other special effects. All stompboxes can be edited and copied between presets. The slots feature color-changing LEDs, so you can see at a glance which effect is in use.
