■For convenience, over 95% of volume pots used in musical instruments are split shaft. When installing a screw-mounted knob, failing to tighten the screw vertically relative to the groove can result in crushing of the groove, causing the knob to tilt or have problems rotating. Therefore, by inserting a Split Shaft Spacer into the groove, you can secure the knob regardless of the groove's orientation. This is an effective solution when correct installation is difficult due to control layout, when you want to use the fixing screw as a ""0"" or ""10"" marker, or when you want to secure a knob with a point in a desired orientation.
*Most pots other than CTS pots have a narrow shaft groove of 1.0mm.
