■ Guitar synthesizer with hybrid sound source: The GR-55 sound engine uses a hybrid method that combines two sound sources. The fusion of two PCM sound sources boasting a variety of real tones and latency-free COSM guitar modeling enables a completely new sound and expressive performance.
■ Excellent performance with high-speed tracking: The pitch of each string input from the dedicated Divided Pickup GK-3/3B is accurately and quickly tracked by a newly developed algorithm.
■ Sound that can be used immediately in rock and pops: GR-55 has 270 preset sounds (guitar mode). The all-new sound by the hybrid sound source not only enables new performance expression but also becomes an immediate force for rock and pop music guitarists.
■ Easy operation with large LCD, EZ-Edit, SOUND STYLE: The top panel has a simple design that allows intuitive operation. You can quickly switch tones using carefully selected buttons and pedal operation as if using a multi-effector. The display uses a 240 x 64 dot LCD. It has excellent visibility and you can comfortably operate various parameters. The preset sounds are categorized into three styles, "LEAD", "RHYTHM" and "OTHERS".
