TASCAM / CD-6010

The TASCAM ""CD-6010"" is a 2U rack-mountable broadcast-grade CD player equipped with the same highly durable CD drive as the CD-9010CF/CD-9010, a high-end broadcast-grade CD player. While achieving the durability and sound quality required for broadcasting, it also fits into a 2U rack-mountable size, allowing it to adapt to a variety of environments and meets the minimum specifications required for broadcasting.

Delivering high-quality sound reproduction that meets the demanding needs of broadcasting environments. Each component has been carefully selected through repeated listening tests at our in-house acoustic evaluation facility. The new DAC employs the Asahi Kasei Electronics AK4480, while the op-amp is the JRC NJM5532. These components are arranged in a circuit configuration that balances operational efficiency and high audio quality. The power supply is the same as that of the CD-9010CF/CD-9010.

The CD-6010's versatility, enabling it to be used in a variety of applications, is also a key feature. In addition to the standard remote controller, it is also compatible with the RC-SS20 and RC-20, and is equipped with a D-sub 9-pin RS-232C serial control terminal and a D-sub 25-pin parallel control terminal, allowing for a variety of external control functions. In terms of functionality, CD flash start playback (push start) is possible using the unit's numeric keys. In addition to the standard track start, cue point flash start is also possible. It also includes all the functions required for a professional CD player.
To improve operational monitoring efficiency, it is the first TASCAM product to feature a monitor speaker in a CD player. Search operations and confirmation work can be performed using just the unit, even with the mixer muted.
