VoiceLive Play's onboard presets and sorting functions have been carefully designed to help even those unfamiliar with equipment and effects quickly find the sound they're looking for. The GENRE button lets you quickly search for sounds from a diverse selection of 235 pre-installed presets. These 235 presets are organized into 18 categories called ""genres.""

Equipped with a powerful DSP engine, it delivers performance on par with high-end equipment used in professional settings.

●Automatic Pitch & Key Detection
The microphone input signal is instantly analyzed by VoiceLive Play's high-precision pitch detection algorithm. Based on the detected pitch, VoiceLive Play performs processes such as pitch correction and hard tuning. In addition, ""PRACTICE"" mode displays actual pitch information in real time on the display, helping you improve your pitch accuracy. VoiceLive Play also features an ""Auto Key"" function that detects the key of a song from an iPod or MP3 player connected via the AUX input. The key information detected by Auto Key is used to generate the appropriate harmonies for your song.

●RoomSense: Built-in Stereo Condenser Microphone
VoiceLive Play is equipped with a stereo condenser microphone on the side of the unit. By adjusting the RoomSense parameters on the ""Setup"" page, you can choose from three options:

・Ambient: Mixes the room's reverberation into the headphone and USB output. You can set the level on the Mix screen.
・Auto Key: RoomSense automatically sets the harmony and HardTune key based on the instrument sound picked up by RoomSense.
・Vocal: RoomSense takes over as an XLR microphone input. This is useful for trying out presets or practicing solo without a handheld microphone.
