TASCAM / SS-R100

The TASCAM SS-R100 digital audio recorder supports not only highly reliable CF cards but also the widely used SD/SDHC/USB memory. By using SD/SDHC cards and USB memory as recording media, it offers high versatility. It can be used to create a reliable audio system for professional audio equipment, such as conference minutes, broadcasting stations, and PA/SR.

High versatility is achieved by using not only CompactFlash (CF) media, which is highly reliable and used in broadcasting stations due to its structure with no exposed contacts, but also widely available SD/SDHC cards and USB memory as recording media.
These solid-state media recorders not only ensure high reliability because they do not have a rotating mechanism, but also significantly reduce the maintenance costs and effort required with rotating media.
They can be used to create highly reliable sound systems for recording purposes such as conference minutes, courts, and government offices, as well as professional audio facilities such as broadcasting stations and PA/SR. They are also ideal for replacing existing playback systems in fitness studios and banquet rooms.
Furthermore, by connecting the optional RC-20, a 20-point flash start system can be created, convenient for playing standard sound sources such as in plays, wedding staging, and chime systems. All three models are compatible with the RC-20.
