Variations

These CTS volume and tone control pots are ideal for guitars and basses with single-coil pickups, such as Stratocasters and Jazz basses. The resistance curve is an A-curve, which provides a gentle, audible transition. They feature an inch-sized, split shaft with a jagged tip, often used in USA-made guitars. They feature a vintage-style, commonly known as a belly button, design suitable for mounting on pickguards or plates.

This is a vintage-style CTS pot with a belly button. Ideal for panel assembly. It features a Montreux-original brass shaft for superior strength.

Vintage CTS Potentiometer
CTS manufactures a variety of pots with different appearances and structures, all electrically identical. This is a Custom pot with a recessed back case and a protruding shaft center. It has lighter torque than a flat-backed version. The 250kΩ pot, often used with Fender guitars, has a 7mm mounting screw length and an 8mm knurled shaft length, while the 500kΩ pot, often used with Gibson guitars, has an 8mm mounting screw length and a 7mm shaft length, resulting in exquisitely tailored specifications. いつものトルク感

　他の方のレビューでCUSTOMは固いとあったので、VINTAGEに決めました。USA・MEXのストラトもVINTAGEが搭載されており、いつもの感じで操作できます。が、シャフトに若干のグラつきが有ります。
　気分の問題ですが、裏のオヘソがカッコいいです。

ハンダのノリが良い

ハンダのノリが良く、不要な芋ハンダなど出来ずに配線がスッキリしました。ただし、安価なギターに良くあるザグリの小さなキャビティ内に収めるのには工夫が必要です。ミニタイプのポットからの交換の場合、ザグリを削る必要があるでしょう。
操作性は軽く、ボリュームを頻繁に弄るプレーヤーにはオススメです。ただ軽すぎて気付かぬ間に触ってしまい、音量が変わらないように注意です。
ピックアップはヴァンザントのROCKを載せていますが、音質は良好で、性能をフルに使い切ってる感じです。
