This bundle includes the Portico 5033 plug-in, a 5-band equalizer with unique tone control characteristics, and the Portico 5043 plug-in, a compressor with a clear, punchy, and warm sound.

Portico 5033 plug-in
The Portico 5033 plug-in is a 5-band equalizer with LF/HF shelving and LMF/MF/HMF parametric bands. Its unique tone control characteristics allow you to tighten the low frequencies by turning down the lows, while raising the highs brings out the necessary frequencies without damaging your ears. Each EQ band can be switched on/off (LMF/MF/HMF independently, LF/HF together), and the All Bypass button allows for easy A/B comparison. In addition to recreating analog hardware, the plug-in features a uniquely digital graphical user interface. It visually displays EQ characteristics and allows you to adjust frequency and gain by dragging the EQ points for each band with the mouse.

Portico 5043 plug-in
The Portico 5043 plug-in features the same Threshold, Ratio, Attack, Release, and Gain parameters that determine the compressor's tone as the hardware. As with the analog hardware version, you can intuitively achieve a knee-jerk sound with minimal adjustment. It offers two gain reduction modes: the Feedback (FB) mode, used in vintage compressors, provides sweet, smooth compression with the inherent coloration of the device, while the Feed Forward (FF) mode, popular in modern compressors, provides more precise compression while minimizing tonal changes. It also reproduces the Portico's unique input/output transformers, which operate even when bypassed.

Supports a wide variety of formats, including VST
- Developed by Steinberg, ""VST"" is a technology that converts synthesizers, effects, and mixers, which previously could only be achieved using hardware, into software and reproduces them on a computer's CPU (native processing), allowing them to be connected within the computer. It is now compatible with many music production and DAW software programs.

- Supports VST 3, VST 2.4 (Windows only), and AU formats (Mac only), making it compatible with many DAW software programs, including Steinberg's DAW software ""Cubase"" and ""Nuendo.""
