Phonitor is a high-quality headphone amplifier newly added to SPL's high-gain series. In addition to standard monitoring functions, it features the all-new ""Crossfeed,"" ""Speaker Angle,"" and ""Center Level"" functions. These are highly advanced parameters that allow you to create the sound spread and balance when monitoring with headphones, as well as the way sound is transmitted from the listening environment and speakers. Crossfeed simulates the level difference between the left and right speakers in a specific frequency range. Speaker Angle determines the width of the stereo image due to the difference in arrival time between the left and right speakers in a specific frequency range. Center Level determines the balance between the left and right stereo signals and the phantom center. Using Phonitor in this way allows you to focus on mixing without being bothered by differences in speaker monitoring environments between studios.
