NEYRINCK / SoundCode for DTS is a mastering quality work tool for encoding/decoding within ProTools software.

■Plug-ins

Tightly integrated with Digidesign Pro Tools software, the Neyrinck SoundCode for DTS plug-in suite provides mastering-quality tools for encoding and decoding DTS Digital Surround 5.1, 5.1ES, 6.1 ES Discrete, and 96/24 audio within Pro Tools software.

Whether you're creating surround audio for DVD-Video or DVD-Audio, SoundCode offers many of the powerful features you need to complete the process within the industry-standard Pro Tools environment.

■Encoder

- DTS 96/24 mode encodes backward-compatible streams at 96kHz/24-bit
- DTS 6.1 ES mode encodes backward-compatible streams in discrete 6.1 channels
- 5.1 ES mode encodes a pre-matrixed rear center channel or a matrix-encodes a discrete 6.1 rear center channel
- Selectable input channel order - Film, SMPTE, or DTS
- Punch-in/out function for convenient mix correction of existing DTS files

■Decoder

- Real-time decoding of DTS files and streams
- Direct File Decode for sample-accurate synchronization with the Pro Tools timeline and video
- Detailed metadata display
- 96/24, 5.1 ES, 6.1 ES When decoding discrete streams, decode options allow you to simulate 5.1 and 48kHz systems.

Stereo and 5.1 downmix modes simulate various listening environments.
