FURMAN / M-8X2 Power Distributor

The FURMAN Merit X series, a standard power module, is a reasonable power conditioner equipped with the basic functions required for a power environment.

Changes from the M8x:
Depth reduced from 190mm to 95mm.
Weight reduced from 2.2kg to 1.8kg.

■Equipment Protection
Equipped with a high-voltage varistor (MOV), over-signal cutoff device, and spike and surge protection. The ultra-fast response cutoff circuit protects equipment from sudden high voltages. It also features a Protection OK LED.
■Clean Power Supply
The filter prevents interference from constant fluorescent light noise, lighting dimmer noise, and radio waves. This improves the cleanliness of audio and video systems and computers. (EMI/RFI)
■Outlets
Equipped with eight 3-pin AC outlets on the rear and one on the front. The Merit X Series uses wide-spaced outlets that can accommodate large AC adapters.
■Circuit Breaker
For safety, the rear panel features a safety breaker that trips when the total power draw exceeds the limit (15 amps). Reset is as simple as pressing a button. There's no need to carry a fuse.
■Switch
A master power ON/OFF switch is located on the front panel.

■Recording
Noise can make it hard to get your tracks down. The Furman EMI/RFI filter removes dirt and noise from the mains power supply before powering your console and DAW. Furman Standard Surge Spike Protection also prevents spikes and surges from damaging your equipment or causing malfunctions in your digital devices.

■DJ Equipment
With a 15A rating and nine outlets, this unit is ideal for clubs, bars, event spaces, and more. Clubs, bars, and other DJ venues often have poor power environments due to air conditioning and lighting, which can negatively impact the functionality of DJ equipment. Furman's standard protection and filters improve the power environment and deliver superior performance.
