Orbit Flanger is an analog flanger featuring STRYMON's dBucket algorithm. Its unique +/- feedback creates a three-dimensional, modulated space where both phases intertwine. The LFO switch controls the speed of the inter-frequency undulations, offering three different patterns. It produces dramatic flanging that can even result in signal cancellation. It also supports line input (+4dB).

■dBucket Technology
・Reproduces the typical characteristics of BBD circuits: the degradation of delay sound quality, high-frequency attenuation, the influence of the clock IC, and tonal changes due to changes in input signal dynamics. The SHARC DSP (ADSP-21375) chip's computing power is fully utilized solely for the flanger effect, achieving quality that exceeds that of studio equipment.
■Analog Dry Mix
・The input signal (guitar signal, etc.) is not converted to analog but is mixed with the delay signal in its analog form. This analog mix method preserves the original sound.
■Three Types of Flanging
・In addition to the two types of LFOs typically found in vintage MXR flangers and A/DA flangers that have made their mark on rock history, Strymon has developed its own unique ""Thru 0"" LFO. This creates a dramatic flanger sound with signal cancellation.
■MIX Control
- This control adjusts the balance between the effect signal and the dry signal, something not found on most flangers. It's an extremely useful feature, allowing you to adjust the balance with the original sound without changing the extreme flanger character.
■Mono IN Stereo OUT
- The output has mono unbalanced jacks for the left and right channels. It can be used as a stereo guitar effect, and also supports +4dB signals, so you can connect it to an insert on a mixing console and use it like a rack-mounted effect.
■FAVORITE Footswitch
- Press and hold the switch to save the control knob settings to memory. When you turn on the footswitch and the LED lights up, the previously saved parameters are recalled.
■Expression Pedal Support
- Connect an expression pedal to the TRS jack to operate any control.
Examples: Roland EV-5, Kurzwell CC-1, M-AUDIO EX-P, etc.
■Lightweight, durable anodized aluminum chassis
■Power supply: 9V DC adapter (center negative, minimum 250mA)
