The ""BLOFELD KEYBOARD"" is the first product from the new Waldorf company and is equipped with a high-quality 49-key keyboard and a new PCM sound source.

The Blofeld Keyboard is a 49-key synthesizer built in a sturdy metal chassis, delivering the sounds of classic Waldorf synths. Packed with the sounds of legendary synths like the Pulse, Q series, and Microwave series, it delivers a fat, powerful sound that Waldorf synth enthusiasts adore.

Not only does it produce the warm, organic analog sound the Q series is known for, it also features a wavetable engine from the ""WAVE"" series. Based on the revolutionary PPG Wave synth, which debuted in the early '80s, this synthesis system delivers the sharp, powerful, bell-like sounds that once swept the music scene, sure to resonate with synth enthusiasts of the past.

The keyboard version adds PCM sound sources to the oscillator section of the desktop version's sound engine. The 60MB of sample memory allows you to load your own audio files and use them as oscillators.
