RME / HDSPe AES PCI Express Audio Interface

The HDSP 9652 is an AES/EBU compatible PCI Express audio interface with RME's performance and quality. It features eight inputs and outputs with 16 channels, two MIDI inputs and outputs, and one word clock input and output. ■Audio Interface

- The HDSPe AES is a short-profile PCI Express audio interface. It offers eight AES/EBU inputs (16 channels) and eight AES/EBU outputs (16 channels) at a sample rate of 192 kHz. It also comes standard with two MIDI inputs and two MIDI outputs, as well as word clock input and output.

- The HDSPe AES was developed in response to numerous requests from the audio industry for an AES/EBU-compatible interface with RME's performance and quality. This card is an all-in-one solution for a wide range of applications, including broadcast, television, theater, stage/PA, and studio applications.

- The card's main board features word clock input and output, as well as a D-sub 25-pin connector, providing four AES inputs and four AES outputs via a standard digital breakout cable (Tascam pinout). The word clock input is galvanically isolated via a transformer and automatically operates at single, double, and quad speeds. The expansion board adds audio channels 9-16 and a MIDI breakout cable connector (5-pin DIN connector) with two MIDI inputs and outputs. The expansion board does not require a PCIe slot.
