■ Audio interface

・HDSPe AES is a short size PCI Express audio interface. Eight AES/EBU inputs (16 channels) and eight outputs (16 channels) are available at a sample rate of 192 kHz. It also comes standard with two MIDI inputs and outputs, and word clock inputs and outputs.

・HDSPe AES was introduced by many requests from the audio industry, saying "I want to realize an AES/EBU-compatible interface with the performance and quality of RME." This card is an all-in-one solution that supports a wide range of interfaces for broadcasting, television, theater, stage/PA, and studio operations.

・The main board of the card is equipped with a word clock input/output and a D-sub25 pin terminal, and provides 4 AES inputs and 4 AES outputs with a general digital breakout cable (Tascam pinout). .. The word clock input is galvanically isolated via a transformer and automatically operates in Single, Double or Quad Speed. The expansion board adds audio channels 9-16 and a MIDI breakout cable connector (5 pin DIN connector) with 2 MIDI inputs and outputs. Expansion boards do not require PCIe slots.
