The API 500-6B Lunchbox is a 6-slot rack designed to accommodate all API 500 series modules.

Because the 500 series uses a common connector standard, modules can be freely combined and installed in this portable case. For example, 550A and 550B, or even 560…

The Lunchbox has a built-in power supply circuit, eliminating the need for an external power supply.

The Lunchbox also has a built-in +48 volt phantom power supply, so for example, with an API 512C, the voltage is supplied via the 15-pin connector.
