These saddles are compatible with the Gibson® Vintage ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic. They conform to the current Gibson® original ""BR-10"" specifications. We recommend having them installed by a repair technician. As with the original, they do not have pre-grooved string grooves.

溝切り推奨

LPR8でまずは溝切りせずに試してみました。倍音豊かでシャリ感？が出てこれはこれでアリかと思いましたが、チョーキングで1?3弦がズレまくるので専用工具で溝切りしました。倍音豊かなのはそのままに音がまとまり、サスティーンも伸びた気がします。出音がグレードアップした印象です。なお、当然ながら硬質金属なので、溝切りにはダイヤモンドヤスリの使用推奨です。

脅威のサスティン

弦の振動が安定してサスティンが向上する
サウンドがクリアでマイルドになる
音の粒立ちがはっきりする
低音域が広がって重量感が出る
弦振動のロスが少なくなることでこれだけのメリットがあります。
痩せるとかキンキンするという人もいますが、弦溝が合っていなかったり、そもそもの規格があってないだけだったりするので、ちゃんとしたリペアショップでの交換を薦めます。
