The X-Amp is a compact re-amplifier that separates the re-amp section from the previously released JD-7 Multi-Amp Injector. It accepts balanced and line signals (XLR) from a recorder or audio interface, eliminating the level-related tonal changes and limitations of passive re-amplifiers. It matches the output levels to two guitar amps and effect pedals, ensuring optimal output while preventing ground loops and other issues.
Furthermore, the X-Amp is constructed with a unique 100% discrete Class A circuit to ensure the pure sound of the recorded tracks is not compromised.
