The TUSQ XL series maintains accurate tuning longer than any other synthetic resin nut, such as graphite or plastic. It also produces a crystal-clear tone, resulting in improved sustain. The fact that TUSQ XL is used by guitar manufacturers worldwide is a testament to its reliability.
TUSQ XL releases Teflon micromolecules when the strings vibrate. TUSQ XL is coated with these molecules, minimizing string friction and reducing tuning errors. These Teflon molecules are released from the nut, so they never disappear and maintain their lubricating effect.
