■This is a passive direct box that converts unbalanced stereo line signals from CD players, MD players, computer sound cards, tape decks, etc., into low-impedance balanced signals. The connectors are a 3.5mm mini TRS stereo jack or RCA phono jack for input, an RCA phono jack for the pass-through, and an XLR male connector for output. The stereo-mono switch allows for stereo operation or to combine stereo inputs into mono and output each separately. It also features a ground lift switch and a 20dB PAD switch.
