■High-quality AD Converter with Head Amp Remote Control
The ""AD8HR"" is an 8-channel high-quality AD converter with head amplifiers, based on the head amp circuit technology of the PM5000.

In addition to being fully compatible with digital environments, including AES/EBU (D-sub 25-pin) output and word clock I/O, it also offers enhanced functionality for use in live sound systems, including phantom power filtering, two digital outputs for splitter function, and remote control in 1dB steps.

- 8-channel AD converter with high-quality head amplifiers
The head amplifier section, which supports a wide range of inputs from microphones to lines, is based on the head amplifier circuit technology of the PM5000 mixing console, achieving excellent separation and warm sound. The amplified sound, faithful to the original signal, is then passed to a high-quality AD converter that supports 96kHz processing. Phantom power can be supplied individually to all eight channels, and an HPF is also included.

- Head amplifier remote function for advanced integration with digital mixers
The AD8HR can be connected to digital production consoles such as the DM2000 and DM1000, allowing remote control of the head amplifier in 1dB steps. Using the head amplifier remote function, the AD8HR can be placed stageside and operated from the AD8HR to the mixer via only AES/EBU and control cables. This minimizes the need for analog wiring, providing significant benefits in terms of both sound quality and simplified wiring.

A comprehensive range of terminals in a 1U-sized body, including two standard AES/EBU outputs
This compact 1U-sized chassis is packed with a comprehensive interface. Each channel has individual phantom power, and the HPF features intuitive operation logic to prevent operational errors. It's also suitable for live sound reinforcement, where speedy operation is required. Each input uses an XLR connector with a latch pin. Two D-sub 25-pin digital outputs (AES/EBU) are standard, and can also function as a splitter. BNC terminals are provided for both the word clock input and output, ensuring complete digital connectivity. For remote control, one D-sub 9-pin RS422 output and one switchable PC/RS422 output are provided.
