This oval replacement stylus for the OM NIGHTCLUB record stylus is ideal for four-on-the-floor dance music. Compared to the round (conical) stylus in the same series, this stylus penetrates deeper into the record groove, producing a more brilliant sound.

*The Ortofon Stylus series can be used with both Concorde (MK1) and OM cartridges. Concorde/OM cartridges can be used with different replacement stylus models, but this may result in reduced cartridge performance or noise.

*The difference between elliptical and conical stylus shapes is the difference. For example, both Ortofon Stylus DJs can be used as replacement styluses for Concorde (or OM) DJs. Generally, conical styluses are considered more stable and less prone to skipping, while elliptical styluses are more focused on sound quality. While there's not much difference between the two, we recommend conical styluses for scratching and elliptical styluses for house and other genres where sound quality is important.
